Service Description: Emergency response area (ERA) is the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) approved surface and subsurface area surrounding a public water supply well that completely contains the scientifically calculated 1 year time-of-travel and is managed by the entity identified in a wellhead protection plan.
This dataset was developed with the intention of protecting the public drinking water supply and complies with the federal Safe Drinking Water Act, United States Code, title 42 and the State of Minnesota Rule (parts 4720.5100 to 4720.5590).
