Service Description: Creation of an online, interactive Extreme Heat Map tool for community use (part of the overall Climate Vulnerability Assessment project). Communities will use this tool to determine which areas within their community are most susceptible to extreme heat. The GIS data needed for this tool includes the Extreme Heat (Land Surface Temperature) data layer. The online map tool should include other data that can be toggled on/off. This data includes the Generalized Land Use 2016 data and the TCMA 1-Meter Urban Tree Canopy Classification data layer. The toggle on/off of these data would allow a community the opportunity to ascertain what land uses may contribute to or mitigate the heat effect and what land cover classes contribute to or mitigate the heat effect. https://gisdata.mn.gov/dataset/base-treecanopy-twincities
